Together, we’ll work to find hope,
healing, and a path forward.

Hi, I’m Ashley Albright. It’s great to meet you! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving Virginians, and my path into counseling has been shaped by a heart for serving others.

ABOUT ME

Everyone has a story.
Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Marine Corps, where I learned the value of resilience, responsibility, and the quiet strength people carry through life's challenges. Since then, I've had the opportunity to support children, families, and individuals in schools, healthcare, and community settings. Along the way, I've also experienced the balancing act of caring for others while raising my own family, giving me a deep appreciation for both the challenges and the resilience we all carry.

I’ve always been drawn to hearing people’s stories. One of the greatest honors of this work is working alongside people as they find hope, healing, and confidence in themselves.

Who I Serve

Children

Children don't always have the words to explain what they're feeling, but their behaviors often tell the story. Whether they're struggling with anxiety, big emotions, friendships, school, family changes, or difficult experiences, therapy can help them better understand their emotions and develop healthy ways to cope.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where children feel seen, heard, and accepted. Together, we'll build confidence, emotional resilience, and the skills they need to navigate life's challenges and continue to grow.

Teens & Young Adults

The transition into adulthood can feel exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. School, relationships, career decisions, and the pressure to have life figured out can leave many teens and young adults feeling anxious or stuck.

Together, we'll work through life's challenges, build practical coping skills, and help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Adults

Life can feel like a constant balancing act. Between work, relationships, and endless responsibilities, it's easy to put yourself last.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, stress, or a major life transition, therapy offers a place to slow down, make sense of what's weighing on you, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.

Parents & Caregivers

When your child is struggling, it's natural to wonder how you can best help. You don't have to navigate it alone.

I believe parents and caregivers are an essential part of a child's success. I'll partner with you by providing guidance, practical strategies, and support while creating a safe space for your child to grow. Together, we'll work toward helping your family feel more connected and confident.

Educators

Supporting others is at the heart of what you do, but the demands of education can leave even the most dedicated educators feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and emotionally drained. Balancing the needs of students, families, colleagues, and your own life isn't easy.

As a former school counselor, I understand the unique challenges educators face. Whether you're navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, compassion fatigue, or a major life transition, therapy offers a space where you can be supported, regain perspective, and reconnect with the passion that brought you to this work.

Military, Veterans &
First Responders

Serving others comes with unique challenges that aren't always visible to those outside the profession. The demands of military service and first responder careers can impact every part of life, from relationships to personal well-being.

As a Marine Corps veteran, and a spouse of a first responder, I understand this culture from the inside. My goal is to provide a space where you can set down the weight you've been carrying, process life's challenges, and move forward with support from someone who understands the demands of service.

Therapy, tailored
to your needs.

I take a flexible, whole-person approach to therapy, because no two people are exactly the same. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), blending practical tools with deeper emotional work.

Reaching out for therapy isn’t easy and if you are reading this, you’ve already taken an important first step. You deserve a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without judgement or pressure.
